CREATIVE Promotional Marketing Agency
My internship at CREATIVE Promotional Marketing was focused on creating new landing pages for the company's website. These pages were designed to showcase the brands that could be personalized, as well as the variety of products that the company offered.

The Canadian Birkie Festival
This project had two main goals: increase participation in the Birkie, a cross-country ski festival, in both the 18-25 and 65+ age demographics. To solve this, our group concluded that new marketing practices needed to be developed and new event had to happen.
For the younger demographic, we suggested a partnership with local university ski clubs, a collab with local brewery Seachange Brewing, and an Aprés Ski Festival. These changes targeted two things that university students tend to love: social gatherings and beer, and a poll within a few classes proved 90% of people would be interested.
For the 65+ demographic, we thought that looking into where fit, young-at-heart people hang out would be a good starting point. So, an ideal way of introducing this group to the Birkie would be by hosting training and info sessions at local golf clubs. Further, buying ads for websites where they tend to get their news from would keep this organization front of mind.

Heartbeat Hideaway
Brief for the 2024 Ad Club of Edmonton Student Case Competition: to create a new, can't-miss event for urban professionals aged 35-60 in favour of the C.K. Hui Heart Centre.
Solution: The Heartbeat Hideaway, presented by the C.K. Hui Heart Centre, a speakeasy-style event where the event is the afterparty. Tickets will be sold, however, prior to the event, local bars and restaurants will feature a specialty cocktail with a portion of the proceeds going to the C.K. Hui Heart Centre. These drinks will be found via an app called the "Hidden Heart Pass", which highlights the participating venues. The dual approach invites greater participation to the event and maximizes revenues. The speakeasy theme allows for the gala to remain relevant due to differentiation from other galas in an oversaturated market.

Rocky Mountain Business Seminar (RMBS)
The Rocky Mountain Business Seminar is the oldest student-led business seminar in Canada. Held at the beautiful Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, AB, this conference attracts tomorrow's leaders from Canada's top business schools. The week-long conference features inspiring keynote speeches and informative breakout sessions from companies making waves at both local and national levels.
As half of the external portfolio for the 2024 Rocky Mountain Business Seminar, my team was tasked with collecting the necessary $90k of sponsorship dollars in order for us to put on this event. This role included pitching the conference to potential sponsors, managing client relationships, organizing sponsorship tiers, creating contracts, and being the main point of contact for corporate sponsors. Ultimately, we were able to not only reach but exceed the required amount by collecting >$100k and the conference went extremely well with rave reviews from student, faculty, and corporate attendees.
